Each quarter, we pick an animal related charity like a rescue or shelter to donate at least 10% of the 3 Short Dogs Tie Dye profits to! If 10% is less than $50, we add whatever additional is needed to make a donation of at least $50.

Check out our current and former featured charities below. You can visit their websites to learn more about them or make an additional donation.

Featured Charity

2025

For 2025 we have just one charity that we are donating the whole year’s donation to, since we have gotten behind in donating!

Featured charity pretty pittie committee

The Pretty Pittie Committee

The Pretty Pittie Committee covers the areas of Mobile, AL and Hattiesburg, MS. They are a foster-based 501(c)3 that started off helping bully breeds but now helps to find homes of all the dogs in need that they come across. PPC also courtesy posts animals in need of homes on their Facebook page, so even if they are not fostering animals they are still helping them find good homes. They work to transfer dogs in need in MS and AL, where we have a big issue with overpopulation, to rescues in the northeast. To donate directly to PPC, visit their website, and don’t forget to follow them on Facebook!

Pride collection

All of the items in our pride collection support The Trevor Project. 10% of those profits go toward supporting their mission of suicide prevention in LGBTQ+ youth. Visit their “Get Help” page to chat, text, or call if you need support.

Previously Featured Charities

2nd-3rd quarter 2024 – East Mississippi Animal Rescue

East MS Animal Rescue is located in Meridian, MS. It was started in 2001 and is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of abandoned animals in East Mississippi.

EMAR is a small group of dedicated volunteers trying to make a difference in our community. We are not a shelter with visiting hours; animals are housed at the homes of volunteers, which means we can accept only a limited number of animals at a time.

Visit EMAR’s website if you would like to see their adoptable animals or make a direct donation to them.

1st quarter 2024

We briefly had to shut down due to Stacey breaking her leg. Since the shop was closed mid-December 2023 for the holidays and then January through April 2024, we did not have any profits to donate.

3rd-4th Quarter 2023 – Trampled Rose Rescue and Rehab

Trampled Rose Rescue & Rehab is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Southeast Louisiana. Their mission and dedication is to the recovery of orphaned, injured and abandoned dogs. They are a foster-based rescue, without a brick-and-mortar-facility. They utilize foster homes across the Greater New Orleans Area to house and socialize their rescues.

2nd Quarter 2023 – Cheshire Abbey

Cheshire Abbey is a 100% volunteer rescue organization focusing on unhoused dogs the Jackson, Mississippi area. Cheshire Abbey and their volunteers have been working – often literally 24/7 – since 2011 to save animals in need. They do not have a shelter and rely on networks for volunteers and boarding to house their dogs. Our 2nd Quarter donation was for Cole, a dog that had been hit by a car that Cheshire Abbey was raising funds for. Visit their website to learn more about them and to support them.
