Featured Charity

2nd quarter 2024 – East Mississippi Animal Rescue

East MS Animal Rescue is located in Meridian, MS. It was started in 2001 and is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of abandoned animals in East Mississippi.

EMAR is a small group of dedicated volunteers trying to make a difference in our community. We are not a shelter with visiting hours; animals are housed at the homes of volunteers, which means we can accept only a limited number of animals at a time.

Visit EMAR’s website if you would like to see their adoptable animals or make a direct donation to them.

1st quarter 2024

We briefly had to shut down due to Stacey breaking her leg. Since the shop was closed mid-December 2023 for the holidays and then January through April 2024, we did not have any profits to donate.

Trampled Rose Rescue & Rehab is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Southeast Louisiana. Their mission and dedication is to the recovery of orphaned, injured and abandoned dogs. They are a foster-based rescue, without a brick-and-mortar-facility. They utilize foster homes across the Greater New Orleans Area to house and socialize their rescues.

2nd Quarter 2023 – Cheshire Abbey

Cheshire Abbey is a 100% volunteer rescue organization focusing on unhoused dogs the Jackson, Mississippi area. Cheshire Abbey and their volunteers have been working – often literally 24/7 – since 2011 to save animals in need. They do not have a shelter and rely on networks for volunteers and boarding to house their dogs. Our 2nd Quarter donation was for Cole, a dog that had been hit by a car that Cheshire Abbey was raising funds for. Visit their website to learn more about them and to support them.
